Tikal is a sativa hybrid with Central American genetics, originating from the jungles of Guatemala. Its happy and stimulant effect is reminiscent of the best old mexican sativas. It is a good yielding and vigorous sativa that is easy to cultivate. When grown outdoors it finishes with well developed branches, full of flowers with a complex aroma of strawberries, peach and incense.

Growing Tips

Excellent adaptability to indoor growing. Very suitable for SOG crops due to its great yield in the main cola, or for SCROG, horizontal or network growing due to its excellent yield in the lateral branches and its vigorous reaction to pruning.
Outdoors, it is also a very adaptable plant that has been successfully grown for years in temperate latitudes, and even in relatively cold climates.
Genetic analyses show that Tikal has a unique and uncommon genotype, of high genetic variability. Excellent sativa to develop vigorous hybrids, with clean uplifting effects and complex fruity and incensey aromas of american sativa.
We recommend moderate levels of nutrients for the whole cycle, slightly higher in flowering.

 Terpene profile

It mainly contains the following monoterpenes: high amounts of terpinolene (40%), beta myrcene (35%) and beta ocimene (25%), small quantities of beta pinene, limonene and alpha pinene, and traces of delta 3 carene, linalool, alpha terpinene and gamma terpinene.
Sesquiterpenes: guaiol and beta caryophyllene, followed by smaller amounts by alpha humelene, nerolidol 2 and bisabolol.
