Arcadian is another well-preserved heirloom/landrace, pure origin variety from the Delicorganic breeder’s seed collection.

Morphology – Fragrance – Influence

The plants can reach 2-2.5 m with rich lateral branching, producing a relatively good yield and a high quality end result.In their natural outdoor environment, the plants start flowering in late July-early August and mature in early-mid October.
The aromas and flavour are mostly earthy, herbal and slightly spicy, the aroma palette of the tobacco in the room and the immediate effect is undoubtedly reminiscent of high quality Greek cannabis of a bygone era.

The effect is sedative, concentration-enhancing, introspective and creative.
This is an open-pollinated seed line where all the valuable genetic diversity of the variety has been preserved.
Arcadian also has a remarkable resistance to fungal and  insect infestations, while being able to cope excellently with different environments.
The flower structure and maturation time can vary between phenotypes, while the quality characteristics of the hashplants  family have been quite well preserved in this genetic line.

The resin heads are with longer stems and the relatively sparse flower structure allows more fully formed resin heads to be held per surface area, making it ideal for high quality Hash production.

Arcadia-Mantinea

The region of Arcadia has a long history of hash production, in the distant past it was a major exporter of high quality hashish to the Mediterranean neighbourhood.
The seeds were collected in 2005 from the region of Mantinea, before the massive introduction of new season varieties in the country.
The Arcadian could be the distant descendant ? of the hashplant variety  called “cannabis” and grown on a large scale in the region of Mantinea for more than 60 years.
