Jack Herer® is a THC-rich hybrid strain (50% sativa, 50% indica) for indoor cultivation. There are several phenotypes with different growth characteristics. The lasting effect is felt in both mind and body.

The majority of phenotypes show clear sativa growth behaviour, combined with resin production and the easy flowering of an indica. Growers should be aware that these plants grow dynamically during the flowering phase. However, there is a rarer phenotype that is predominantly indica and does not spread as much, being overall more compact.

You should see the buds of this variety: they are some of the largest available. With sativa phenotypes, resin-covered calyxes are created in various places, giving the plants a wild look.

We’re talking resin: the carefully cultivated buds glisten with a thick layer of THC-rich trichomes. Because this diamond-dust appearance is preserved in the dried buds, they are extremely popular with sellers and smokers. If you examine a bud under a microscope, you will see that it is composed more of resin glands than plant tissue.

Depending on the phenotype, Jack Herer® is ready for collection after about 10 to 12 weeks. Plants with strong indica dominance can be harvested after only 8 weeks. Remember that this cannabis variety was developed for indoor cultivation. Outdoor cultivation will only succeed in a warm climate with lots of sunshine.

In the right hands, Jack Herer® produce a rich crop that can be further increased with specific techniques such as Sea of Green (SOG), Screen of Green (SCROG), Supercropping and Lollipopping.

No matter how varied the growth behaviour is, in terms of outcome, Jack Herer® remains surprisingly stable. The high energetic  cerebral effect is supported by an impressive relaxation in the body. So, don’t be surprised if you feel the earth move beneath your feet while your mind soars into the stratosphere. If you like weed with high CBD content and few psychoactive effects, you should look for another plant.

When grown indoors, plants of this variety produce only a light fragrance, making them an excellent choice for clandestine growers. It is after they dry out that they develop their wonderful aromatic bouquet. Most of the flowers have a complex, intense and flavorful hashish tone that, depending on the phenotype, is mixed with Afghan tones and fruity skunk aromatic notes.
